Day 2: Wednesday 15th. The group is becoming smaller yet more committed. We watched some "experimental" films. What does it mean? Can we generate a brilliant idea?
Day 3: Wow it IS leading somewhere, they are dropping away but those that are left came up with some really brilliant ideas. Next thing to do is list them all and develop ....ONE
Hi Tim, it's NIamh. What did you think of my "Granny Saves the Olympics" idea? I can plan it out more detailed if you want but if you think the idea is a bit rubbish then I can leave it and start talking about what our preferred options are as a group to try to come up with something as a "small" group.
Hi Niamh. Top marks for being the first to register! I think your idea is really good. What I'd like to be able to do, is discuss all the ideas with the others, so we are all thinking about how an idea could work in the film (or not!). Hopefully we can have a thread (a blog discussion) on each idea. So if you felt like it you could start a new post and describe as much of your idea as you'd like.
I don't think Johnny is allowed to blog and the others don't know how to so they have given up. I think Hollie has a Google account so she might come on and blog.
"GRANNY SAVES THE OLYMPICS" My idea is called "Granny Saves the Olympics" using a split screen. A granny would be on one side and a child would be on the other. In each race they are against each other and because the granny keeps fit unlike the child, the granny always wins. Maybe we could do a scene when they are preparing for the races and the granny lifts heavy weights. Then the kid tries to lift the same weight but falls over. The idea of this film would be to show that if you keep fit, you can do anything. This would be animation.
your idea niamph is a copy of Jimmy saves the Olympics and that one that we watched with Mr Flood pick a new name and its going to be good idea plus animation is not what everyone else voted for even though i agree with you cause I work well with animation
There is a change of plan regarding the funding application. I'll tell you about it on Wednesday lunchtime.
I somehow missed the "animation" bit in your idea Niamh. Animation takes a long time but it could be done. I think it would suit your idea and if it doesn't happen at school, why not do it at home? I'll show you how on Wednesday.
What about Zombies invade the ollypics and all the pepole that are doing sports in the ollympics have to save the ollympic flame from the zobies putting it out Thanks Dylan
I havn't forgotten you. I have been working full time so I am not able to get to Kinloss at lunchtimes. This may be the case for a while. I'll let you know when I can come.
I have been very busy recently. Apologies for not communicating. Things are quieter now. I thought perhaps the best way to make a film may be to do it in an afternoon at school. What do you think?
